Ingredients
Scale
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 cup milk of choice
1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional, for extra thickness)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sweetener to taste (e.g., maple syrup or honey)
Instructions
In a jar or container, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, and chia seeds. Mix these dry ingredients well.
Add the milk of choice, Greek yogurt (if using), vanilla extract, and sweetener.
Stir everything together thoroughly. Make sure no dry clumps of protein powder remain stuck to the bottom or sides.
Seal the container and place it in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
In the morning, check the consistency. If it is too thick, stir in a splash more milk until you reach your preferred texture.
Enjoy your thick, protein-packed breakfast!
Notes
For a thicker result, reduce the amount of liquid slightly or add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of chia seeds.
Adjust sweetener before serving, as protein powders vary in sweetness.
Top with fresh berries or nuts before eating for added texture and flavor.
