This Peach Cobbler Dump Cake is the easiest dessert you will ever make. You literally dump the ingredients into a pan—canned peaches, dry cake mix, and butter—for a warm, buttery, fruit-filled cobbler. It brings back instant comfort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches in heavy syrup, undrained
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix (dry, do not prepare)
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Pour the entire can of undrained sliced peaches into the prepared baking dish. Spread them evenly across the bottom.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the layer of peaches. Do not stir.
  4. Arrange the pieces of butter evenly over the top of the dry cake mix.
  5. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes. The topping should be golden brown and the fruit should be bubbling around the edges.
  6. Let the cobbler cool slightly before you serve it. Enjoy the comforting taste!

Notes

  • This recipe is best served warm.
  • Consider adding a sprinkle of cinnamon over the dry mix before adding the butter for extra flavor.
  • This dessert tastes fantastic topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
