Bake tender, flaky salmon fillets coated in a bright, zesty lemon and garlic butter sauce. This recipe brings a fresh, flavorful dinner to your table quickly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the fish.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  4. Pour the lemon-garlic mixture over each salmon fillet, spreading it to coat the tops well.
  5. Sprinkle the salt and pepper over the coated salmon.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
  7. Remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra layer of flavor, place thin lemon slices directly on top of the salmon before baking.
  • If you prefer a richer taste, use all butter instead of mixing with olive oil.
  • This pairs wonderfully with roasted asparagus or a simple green salad.
