Ingredients
Scale
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup full-fat coconut cream (canned, unshaken)
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 medium avocado
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 scoop unflavored or vanilla keto-friendly protein powder (optional)
Sweetener to taste (e.g., 10 drops liquid stevia or 1 tablespoon monk fruit sweetener)
4-5 ice cubes
Instructions
Place the almond milk, coconut cream, frozen strawberries, avocado, cocoa powder, chia seeds, protein powder (if using), and sweetener into a high-speed blender.
Add the ice cubes last.
Blend on low speed initially to combine the ingredients.
Increase the speed to high and blend until the mixture is completely smooth and thick. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
Taste the smoothie and add more sweetener if desired. Blend briefly to incorporate.
Pour immediately into a glass and serve cold.
Notes
For a thicker texture, reduce the almond milk slightly or add 1/4 teaspoon of xanthan gum before blending.
Use only frozen strawberries to achieve a cold, thick milkshake consistency without excessive ice.
Adjust the amount of cocoa powder to control the intensity of the chocolate flavor.
