Ingredients
Scale
1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup hot honey
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized, flipping halfway through.
While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, whisk together the hot honey and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl.
Once the Brussels sprouts are cooked, drizzle the hot honey mixture over them and toss to coat.
Return to the oven for another 2-3 minutes to allow the glaze to thicken.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the hot honey mixture.
Ensure your Brussels sprouts are dry before tossing with oil for optimal roasting.
