Ingredients

Scale
  • 2.5 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. This is key for crispy wings!
  3. In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
  6. While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and minced garlic.
  7. After 25 minutes, remove the wings from the oven. Flip them over and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove the wings from the oven. Immediately toss them in the garlic butter mixture until well coated.
  9. Transfer the sauced wings to a clean bowl. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Toss gently to coat.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious homemade wings!

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, you can place them on a wire rack set inside the baking sheet.
  • Feel free to add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a little heat.
  • If you don’t have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley, but use about 2 teaspoons.
