Ingredients
Scale
1 bottle (750 ml) chilled Champagne or Prosecco
1 cup chilled vodka
1 cup white grape juice
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1 cup fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
1 orange, thinly sliced
Instructions
Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely to make a simple syrup. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the cooled simple syrup, vodka, white grape juice, orange juice, and lemon juice. Stir well.
Chill this base mixture for at least 1 hour.
Just before serving, gently stir in the chilled Champagne or Prosecco. Do not stir vigorously, as you want to keep the bubbles.
Add the raspberries, strawberries, pomegranate seeds, and orange slices to the punch bowl.
Serve immediately in glasses filled with ice.
Notes
You can make the juice and syrup base up to 24 hours ahead of time. Add the sparkling wine just before guests arrive.
For an extra festive look, freeze some of the berries in ice cube trays with a little water to create decorative ice cubes that won’t dilute the punch quickly.
If you prefer a less sweet punch, reduce the simple syrup amount to 1/4 cup.
