Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs Salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, fresh lemon juice, chopped dill, and minced garlic. This makes your creamy sauce.
  4. Pour the lemon dill sauce evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. The sauce should be warm and slightly thickened.
  6. Serve immediately. You can spoon extra sauce from the pan over the top.

Notes

  • For an extra bright flavor, add a teaspoon of lemon zest to the cream sauce.
  • If you prefer a lighter sauce, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream.
  • This salmon pairs wonderfully with roasted asparagus or fluffy rice pilaf.
