Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well.
  2. Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the peanut butter filling evenly over the pretzel crust.
  5. In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering. Pour over chocolate chips and let stand for 5 minutes. Stir until smooth and glossy.
  6. Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter filling.
  7. Chill the pie for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

Notes

  • For an extra salty kick, sprinkle a few extra crushed pretzels on top before serving.
  • You can substitute milk chocolate or dark chocolate chips for semi-sweet.
  • For a firmer crust, you can bake the pretzel crust for 8-10 minutes at 350°F (175°C) before filling. Let it cool completely before adding the filling.
