Scale
  • 1 pound cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 can (8 ounces) crescent roll dough
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  7. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the casserole topping.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the edges of the rolls are golden brown.
  9. Let the casserole cool for about 5 minutes before you serve it.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken to save time on cooking and shredding.
  • If you prefer, substitute cream of mushroom soup for cream of chicken soup.
  • For extra flavor, add a dash of dried thyme to the sauce mixture.
