Ingredients
Scale
2 Salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and garlic powder. This is your glaze.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Spoon the maple Dijon glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
Serve immediately and enjoy the flavor memory.
Notes
For extra brightness, squeeze a little fresh lemon juice over the salmon right before serving.
If you like a deeper color on the glaze, you can briefly place the salmon under the broiler for the last minute, watching carefully to prevent burning.
This glaze works well with other flaky white fish too.
