Bake chicken breasts until tender and top them with a rich, creamy sauce made from Parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing components, and garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing (bottled or homemade)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry. Rub them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Bake the chicken for 15 minutes.
  4. While the chicken bakes, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice.
  5. Stir the sauce constantly until it simmers and thickens slightly, about 3 to 5 minutes. Do not let it boil rapidly.
  6. Remove the baking dish from the oven. Pour the creamy Parmesan sauce evenly over the partially cooked chicken breasts.
  7. If using, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  8. Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) and the sauce is bubbly.
  9. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger Caesar flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of anchovy paste to the sauce mixture.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, reduce the heavy cream slightly or add a teaspoon of cornstarch mixed with water before heating.
  • This dish pairs well with steamed green beans or a side salad.
