Wake up to the cozy taste of apple pie with these easy, no-bake Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats. This recipe is perfect for healthy meal prep and provides a satisfying, grab-and-go breakfast for busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy like almond or soy)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 small apple, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container with a lid, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, milk, applesauce, diced apple, maple syrup (if using), cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Stir all ingredients together well until everything is fully mixed and the chia seeds are distributed.
  3. Seal the container and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  4. In the morning, check the consistency. If it is too thick, stir in a splash more milk until you reach your preferred texture.
  5. Eat cold directly from the jar. You can add extra cinnamon or chopped nuts on top before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, ensure you use a plant-based milk.
  • If you want a protein boost, stir in 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder or 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt before chilling.
  • These oats keep well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, making them excellent for batch meal prep.
  • If you prefer a softer apple texture, you can microwave the diced apple with the cinnamon for 30 seconds before mixing it into the oats.
