Ingredients
Scale
1 pound white button mushrooms, stems removed
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Wipe the mushroom caps clean. Remove the stems and finely chop the stems.
In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
Mix in the chopped mushroom stems until the filling is well combined.
Lightly brush the outside of the mushroom caps with olive oil.
Spoon the filling evenly into each mushroom cap, mounding it slightly.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange the stuffed mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown and bubbly.
Carefully remove the mushrooms from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add 1/4 cup of cooked, crumbled sausage to the filling mixture.
If you prefer a crispier top, sprinkle a tiny bit of extra Parmesan cheese over the filling before air frying.
Ensure your cream cheese is truly soft for easy mixing.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; give the mushrooms space for the air to circulate and brown properly.
