Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds Russet potatoes, cubed
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning mix
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
Instructions
Cut the potatoes into uniform, bite-sized cubes.
Place the cubed potatoes in a large bowl.
Drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes. Toss well to coat every piece lightly.
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and salt over the oiled potatoes. Toss again until the seasoning sticks evenly.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
Air fry for 15 minutes.
Shake the basket well.
Continue to air fry for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are deeply golden brown and very crispy.
Serve immediately and enjoy that perfect crunch.
Notes
For the best crisp, do not wash the potatoes after cubing; the surface starch helps with texture.
Ensure you toss the potatoes thoroughly with oil first; this helps the dry seasoning adhere better during cooking.
Check seasoning after cooking; you might want a small extra sprinkle of salt if your mix is low sodium.
