Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry completely.
  2. Toss the chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  4. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Air fry for 12 minutes.
  6. While the chicken cooks, whisk together honey, apple cider vinegar, sriracha, and smoked paprika in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. After 12 minutes, flip the chicken pieces.
  8. Air fry for another 5 minutes.
  9. Brush the hot honey glaze generously over the chicken pieces.
  10. Return the glazed chicken to the air fryer for 2-3 minutes until the glaze is sticky and slightly caramelized.
  11. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, ensure your chicken is very dry before seasoning.
  • Adjust the amount of sriracha to control the heat level to your liking.
  • We find boneless thighs stay juicier in the air fryer, but breasts work too.
