Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
12 egg roll wrappers
1 large egg, beaten (for sealing)
Cooking spray
Instructions
Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a skillet. Drain off any excess grease.
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the cooked beef mixture. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until combined.
Incorporate the cooled beef mixture into the cheese mixture, stirring well to create the filling.
Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner pointing toward you.
Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near the bottom corner.
Fold the bottom corner up over the filling.
Fold in the left and right corners toward the center.
Roll the wrapper tightly away from you, brushing the top edge with the beaten egg to seal.
Lightly spray the assembled egg rolls all over with cooking spray.
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp.
Notes
Make sure the beef filling is not hot when mixing with the cream cheese to prevent the cheese from melting too soon.
Use good quality egg roll wrappers for the best crispness.
For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of mustard powder to the meat mixture.
